Becoming A Better You ( Part I)

mindset-743166_1280Your destiny demands you become what you’ve never been before. Salvation activates the transformation process; but it encompasses much more than we realize. It bequeaths a legacy of healing, deliverance and restoration. God was just getting started when He saved you. Restoring you to wholeness is His ultimate goal!

II Corinthians 5:17 lets us know being in Christ is a journey to becoming a better you. The journey commands a change in mindset because God works from the inside out. A renewed mind sets the stage for overcoming negative self-talk and self-defeating behaviors.

You’re in the process of becoming who you never dreamed you could be. From time to time God shows you a preview of the who you are becoming. When He does, resist the tendency to tell God what you’re not. God is showing you who you already are in His eyes.

In our next post, we’ll take a closer look at who you are becoming. Until then, rejoice and walk in the newness of YOU!
