Becoming a Better You (Part 2)

Woman putting on earringsPeople, especially women, have a tendency to compare themselves to others. Comparison can breed self-contempt. Learn to appreciate the awesome creation that YOU are. Stop picking yourself apart. Fix what you can and learn to love all of you. God was intentional in your design. Think about it. He colored your eyes with the outpouring of His love. He molded your ears to hear the whispers of His voice. He etched your mouth to drink in His goodness. He appointed the specific date, time and location of your birth. No detail escaped His notice.

God is fashioning you into someone you’ve never been before. The greatness He’s sown into you cries out for release. Picture yourself doing what you thought was impossible. Perhaps it is starting your own business, getting your degree, buying a home, or reaching your goal weight. Whatever it is, envisioning yourself doing that thing is a prerequisite to it becoming your reality. Fuel the vision of who you’re becoming with the promises of God. When you do, the journey of becoming a better you releases the amazing person God created you to be.
