Destiny

No matter the challenge, great or small,

Remember God is in the midst of them all.

He’s there with you through thick and thin.

He’ll see you through until the end.

So when the enemy tries to rear his ugly head.

Fear not my child, don’t be filled with dread.

Remember God’s promises are steadfast and true.

Remember to hold fast to them when you’re feeling blue.

I’m praying God gives you the strength to endure.

And of this one thing I’m most certainly sure.

God promised to complete the work He’s begun in you.

I know the things He’s exposing you to may be scary and new.

Walk in your purpose and destiny.

Allow Him to use you for all to see.

by Reverend Cynthia Jackson

Why is it so difficult for some of us to remember that God has promised that He will never leave us alone – and to remember that God cannot lie? He said He will do it and that’s all there is to it. He didn’t say that we would never feel alone. When we start feeling alone, He wants us to dig down and draw on the faith – a measure of which He has given to each and every one of us.  The fact that He reminds us during our journey to our destiny that He will never leave us alone tells me that He knew that there would be times during our journey that we would feel like we are alone.
