Wait

For the last couple of months, I have been beating the heck out of my laptop because every time it would update, I would lose my sound; the update did something to the sound card, making it disappear. Every time this would happen, I would restore my computer, temporarily fixing the problem. But every time my computer would automatically update itself, I would lose my sound all over again. Fed up and annoyed, I decided that I would just leave it, and if it still did not work, I would get it fixed. Wouldn’t you like to know, that the next time it updated, my sound was restored! If I had just left my laptop alone and let Microsoft do what they do best by updating my computer, I would have gotten my sound back a long time ago.

In our lives we go through many set-backs and hurdles that do not always end the way we want them to. And because something is fractured or broken in our lives, we want to keep on restoring ourselves to fix the problem. But don’t you know God has us, and like my laptop, if we simply let go and let Him update us, we will be mended in a way that only God can fix. Let go, let God flow and be updated…
