Pregnant With Purpose Part II

Road-AheadWelcome back as we conclude our discussion on “Pregnant With Purpose.”

You are the manifestation of a thought in the mind of God. God’s thoughts become His words. God’s words are His promises. God’s promises are His reality for your life. When God thinks of you, He doesn’t think of you as an incomplete thought. God has thought you through everything you will ever experience. He sees you as complete right where you are at this moment is time. You were created for such a time as this! You’re in the process of becoming the picture God has of you etched in the palm of His hand (Isaiah 49:16). He’s perfecting the things concerning you (Psalm 138:8). God accomplishes this by removing the layers and unpeeling the years of emotional turmoil, hurt, pain, unmet needs and unresolved issues to reveal the you He created you to be.

Mary was blessed because she believed God’s word (Luke 1:45). You have the promise of God’s presence with you wherever you go (Hebrews 13:5). God has commanded favor and blessings in your life. Favor doesn’t eliminate process. It doesn’t mean you’ll be problem free. It means you’ll overcome whatever comes at you. Favor empowers you to weather the storms of adversity. You’re pregnant with purpose. You must trust God through the process.

I want to challenge your belief system about yourself. God sees in you what others don’t. He sees in you what you don’t see in yourself. You’re carrying something greater than yourself. Stop telling yourself what you’re not. Start believing who God says you are. You’re made in His image and after His likeness (Genesis 1:26). Your uniqueness sets you apart and makes you attractive to God. Ask God to give you a God-perception of yourself.

When a woman is pregnant, we say she’s expecting. You must have an expectation that God will do everything He promised There’s a show on cable television about women who didn’t know they were pregnant until they gave birth. You need to know you’re about to give birth to some things you didn’t even know you were carrying!

Salvation gives your life meaning and ordains you for purpose. It makes you necessary. You mean so much to God He says no man can pluck you out of His hand (John 10:28), not even you. You’re a chosen vessel with a divine assignment. You’ve been created to make an impact on your environment. You have a purpose and destiny to fulfill. Your part is to trust and obey. Submission to God’s will for your life will usher you into a realm of greatness beyond your imagination.

Until next time…Be blessed!
